I was sitting at my desk at work today giving this album a good listen. I was really digging it until "Dying Bird of Prey" came on. I was getting into the song, but then the chorus dropped. It took me back to the 80['s faster than a DeLorean! The vocal harmonies, the classic anthem beat and chord progression. It had all of the elements of the songs that really got me hooked on metal in the first place. It's so awesome! It'll be in my Top 100 Most Played Songs playlist by the end of the week.

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands
